Agility is the key to survival in combat – MKU superlight combat jackets

In combat, an armed soldier carries a lot of equipment depending on the mission he or she is assigned. A lot of weight makes movement slow and that often prevents agile relocation in case there is a need for it. Particularly in active engagement with enemy, a solider must move fast and stay protected, lightweight combat jackets are designed to help soldiers do just that without adding to the overall weight of equipment and body armour already in place.

MKU’s research and development team has leveraged lightweight materials to make superior combat jackets. Improved outer tactical jackets and concealed jackets manufactured using the latest 6th generation technology effectively reduces armour weight by 40% and is 30% thinner.This enables Infantrymen and special operation personnel to carry more equipment or supplies without adding to the weight. Three variants of the MKU multi utility over vests increase operation efficiency of soldiers in combat.

JMU II A

Agile ballistic protection

Special Forces deployed in active combat areas need optimal ballistic protection and more. JMU II A is designed for effortless agility, flexibility in movement and offers excellent load bearing capability for soldiers to carry special equipment for their mission. Front, back and side armour plates along with optional groin and collar protection makes this perfect for scenarios where the solider has to engage enemies with handguns, knives, spikes or shrapnel.

JMU XIV B

Extended protection and torso shielding

This variant of MKU’s combat jackets offers everything the JMU II A provides and more. The soldier has added protection of upper arms, shoulder, throat and groin. This is done by adding armour plates at strategic locations for improved resistance against handgun ammo, shrapnel’s and fragments. The design is very ergonomic and the waist belt comes with 4 point adjustment for a comfortable fit. Also, the JMU XIV B has a drag handle at the back for swiftly removing an injured solider away from danger.

JMU II B

Agility & Additional Provision for Equipment

Finally, the JMU II B provides superior agility and freedom of movement in combat situations and it comes with additional attachment provision to facilitate more equipment. These combat jackets come with detachable neck collars, groin and upper arm protection features.
